Provincial Grand Chapter was then closed , and the companions dined in the Hotel , Comp . McKay , P . G . H . in the chair . The usual loyal and Masonic toasts were duly honoured .

National Great Priory.

NATIONAL GREAT PRIORY .

A Great Priory was held at Mark Masons' Hall on Friday , the 12 th inst . Present : the V . E . Great Sub-Prior , the Earl of Euston , on the throne ; the V . E . Provincial Priors for East Anglia , Captain N . J . Philips ; Lancashire , Captain C . R . N . Beswicke-Royds ; Devonshire , the Rev . T . W . Lemon , D . D . ; and Kent and Surrey , Colonel G . Noel Money , C . B . National Great Officers : Sir Knights the Rev . J . S . Brownrigg , as Prelate j Frank Richardson , Marshal ; Ralph Clutton , Treasurer ; R . H . Thrupp , Registrar ; the Officers , and many Past Grand Officers and sir knights .

The Great Sub-Prior having taken his seat on the throne , opened National Great Priory in ample form . The REGISTRAR called the muster roll . The minutes of the National Great Priory of the 9 th December , 1892 , were read , and declared to be correctly recorded . The report of the Council was taken as read .

Notice was given that the additions to the statutes of Great Priory , recommended in the report of the Council , be made . Motions arising out of the report were made and carried , viz .: a grant of 25 guineas from the Benevolent Fund to the Royal Masonic Institution for Girls .

A vote of thanks to Sir Knight J . Lane for having presented to Great Priory a table cover connected with the Ancient Order of Knights of Malta , which was formerly the property of H . R . H . the Duke of Sussex . The GREAT SUB-PRIOR , in the name , and on behalf of the Great Prior , appointed the Great Officers and officers for the ensuing year , who were presented and invested , viz .:

The Almoner collected the alms , and the Great Sub-Prior closed the Great Priory . Priory of the Order of Malta , under the banner of the Oxford and Cambridge University Preceptory , was afterwards opened . The V . E . Great Sub-Prior , the Earl of Euston , occupied the throne , and E . Sir Knight R . Loveland Loveland occupied the seat of Prior . Ten members of the Order of the Temple were admitted into the Order of Malta , and the Priory was then closed .

The V . E . Great Sub-Prior , the Earl of Euston , afterwards presided at the banquet at Freemasons' Tavern , supported by the V . E . Provincial Priors of East Anglia , Devonshire , and Kent and Surrey , several Great Officers , many officers , present and past , and a great number of other knights .

Comp . MCKAY , P . G . H ., was then invested as First Principal , and presided , and moved that 30 guineas be voted to the R . M . B . L , which was seconded by Comp . BARN , and carried . The P . G . S . E . moved that 10 guineas be voted to the Royal Masonic Institution for Boys , which was seconded by Comp . PATERSON , and carried .

Provincial Grand Chapter was then closed , and the companions dined in the Hotel , Comp . McKay , P . G . H . in the chair . The usual loyal and Masonic toasts were duly honoured .

National Great Priory.

NATIONAL GREAT PRIORY .

A Great Priory was held at Mark Masons' Hall on Friday , the 12 th inst . Present : the V . E . Great Sub-Prior , the Earl of Euston , on the throne ; the V . E . Provincial Priors for East Anglia , Captain N . J . Philips ; Lancashire , Captain C . R . N . Beswicke-Royds ; Devonshire , the Rev . T . W . Lemon , D . D . ; and Kent and Surrey , Colonel G . Noel Money , C . B . National Great Officers : Sir Knights the Rev . J . S . Brownrigg , as Prelate j Frank Richardson , Marshal ; Ralph Clutton , Treasurer ; R . H . Thrupp , Registrar ; the Officers , and many Past Grand Officers and sir knights .

The Great Sub-Prior having taken his seat on the throne , opened National Great Priory in ample form . The REGISTRAR called the muster roll . The minutes of the National Great Priory of the 9 th December , 1892 , were read , and declared to be correctly recorded . The report of the Council was taken as read .

Notice was given that the additions to the statutes of Great Priory , recommended in the report of the Council , be made . Motions arising out of the report were made and carried , viz .: a grant of 25 guineas from the Benevolent Fund to the Royal Masonic Institution for Girls .

A vote of thanks to Sir Knight J . Lane for having presented to Great Priory a table cover connected with the Ancient Order of Knights of Malta , which was formerly the property of H . R . H . the Duke of Sussex . The GREAT SUB-PRIOR , in the name , and on behalf of the Great Prior , appointed the Great Officers and officers for the ensuing year , who were presented and invested , viz .:

Sir Knight Ralph Clutton was re-elected Treasurer . The following were appointed members of the Council for the ensuing year -. Sir Knights Col . H . S . S . Burney , Ralph Gooding , George Cooper , and Frank Richardson ; and the following were elected : Sir Knights C . A . Ncwnham , the Rev . J . S . Brownrigg , Sir George Harris , G . R . Crickmay , and T . W . Coffin .

The Almoner collected the alms , and the Great Sub-Prior closed the Great Priory . Priory of the Order of Malta , under the banner of the Oxford and Cambridge University Preceptory , was afterwards opened . The V . E . Great Sub-Prior , the Earl of Euston , occupied the throne , and E . Sir Knight R . Loveland Loveland occupied the seat of Prior . Ten members of the Order of the Temple were admitted into the Order of Malta , and the Priory was then closed .

The V . E . Great Sub-Prior , the Earl of Euston , afterwards presided at the banquet at Freemasons' Tavern , supported by the V . E . Provincial Priors of East Anglia , Devonshire , and Kent and Surrey , several Great Officers , many officers , present and past , and a great number of other knights .
