advantage of it to land the fish in hundredweights . One farmer landed 1000 trout at one sweep , while another succeeded in landing five cartloads . The quality . is uniformly good , and the farmers are salting for winter use what cannot be immediately disposed of . The men wade into the water and simply drive the fish into the nets .

Bro . Anthony lrollope , it is said , intends to write a novel description of Irish country life at the present time , and is about to start on' a tour through Ireland .
