evening came last of all and produced much excitement . All through the evening the mammoth Christmas tree had been the centre of admiration , and before the children left each one drew a ticket , which entitled the holder to one of th > presents on the tree . There were all prizes and no blanks in this lottery , and the children staggered to the dressing rooms with their arms full of toys of every variety . Mr . Marshall's little daughter bade her guests goodbye , and the Temple House children ' s party , a sign of the kindly relationship existing between employer and employed , came to a successful conclusion .

Lyons and Co ., Limited , and the proverbial attention and personal crmfort ever extended to the public by these well-known caterers and
restaurateurs . The basement floor is devoted to the grill room , with the buffet , smoking , reading , and billiard rooms . Small but deliriously cosy dining rooms surround these splendid public rooms . The first floor of the new Trocadero is another welcome surprise , consisting as it does of a

A CITY "CHILDREN ' S PARTY . " —On Saturday evening , Miss Nellie Marshall , the daughter of Bro . H . B . Marshall , M . A ., CC , held her annual Christmas party at Temple House , Temple-avenue . The invited guests consisted of the children of the employes of the firm , and upwards of So of these little people accepted the invitation . Temple House was prettily decorated for the occasion , and for four hours the rooms rang with the sound of childish laughter and the clatter of tiny feet . "I DREAMT THAT I DWELT IN MARBLE HALLS" will be the pleasing fancy of every one who first crosses the threshold of the gorgeous Trocadero Restaurant , which now holds such a proud and enviable position in the " New London " starting into life round and about Piccadilly Circus . But instead of the " vassals and serfs " of the old song we shall find a warm and hospitable welcome from the courteous and spirited proprietors , Messrs . J . Lyons and Co ., Limited , and the proverbial attention and personal crmfort ever extended to the public by these well-known caterers and
restaurateurs . The basement floor is devoted to the grill room , with the buffet , smoking , reading , and billiard rooms . The entrance floor is occupied by the grand restaurant , with its golden minstrel and great gallery in the style of Louis Quatorze , and attacheel to the gold hall and gallery is a splendid adjacent saloon in the style of Louis Quinze . Small but deliriously cosy dining rooms surround these splendid public rooms . The first floor of the new Trocadero is another welcome surprise , consisting as it does of a
ball room , a banqueting hall in the Empire period—a most admirable reproduction—and an ante-room in the style of Louis Treize . On the gallery level , at the top of the grand staircase , will be found a reception room , again in the style of Louis Treize ; a magnificent Masonic lodge in the period of Francois Premier , with , of course , the necessary ante-rooms for the comfort and convenience of the brethren of the Craft .
