"INDIAN FREEMASONS'ALMANAC AND DIARY , iSyri . P . C . Dutt , P . D . Dist . G . M . of Bengal , & c . All thc Masonic Bodies in India are duly noted and detailed in this wonderful volume of facts , under the various Constitutions , and Ihe chief particulars of the past are given under each Organisation . Bro . Dutt

dors not attempt to give any statistics as to the membership of each of the Lodges , but surtly the District Grand Secretaries would supply these , and thus add considerably to Ihe usefulness of the work ; though , even as it is , the cost of production cannot be covered by the subscription . Still this additional item would not involve much space , and would make it more complete . The labour of compilation must be very heavy indeed , and Bio . Dutt thus annually does a real good service to the Indian Brotherhood by publishing such an exhaustive Directory of the Craft .

successful in the competitions . He was sure they all felt very grateful to her ladyship for what she had done , but a feeling ol gratitude was one thing—to show gratitude was another ; and they had a means of showing their gratitude to her ladyship , inasmuch as her ladyship ' s eldest son , Viscount Dungarvan , had kindl y consented to take the chair at Wednesday ' s Petti val , and they could show their gratitude in a very marked manner by taking up , as far as they possibly could , the lareest sum that had vet

been known at the Festival . ( Loud applause . ) He would ask all the brethren Stewards—not only themselves , but their friends—lo remember that the Committee expected them to bring in a very heavy list for Lord Dungarvan to annour . ee on Wednesday , and then they wov . ld show their gratitude . Addressing the Countess , of Cork , the learned brother said : My Lady , I hope you have been pleased with what you have seen to-day .

This Institution is governed by a very influential set of brethren , the General Committee ' . We have also 12 gentlemen who devote their time in coming every month to see after the conduct of the School . We are fortunate also in having a very efficient staff—a staff consisting of those ladies who have been educated in the School , and we are proud that among that stall you tee to-day a Bachelor of Arts of the London University .

successful in the competitions .
